The story behind this hammer is,  Musician and cymbalsmith Juan Montoya sent me some pictures of marks in a cymbal he liked. I thought they bore a striking (no pun intended) resemblance to those left by the cross pein of my forging hammer.  After rolling around some ideas we came up with this  double straight peen with a narrow ½” dia compound radius and a ¾” compound radius.  This is the first cymbalsmithing hammer I'm offering that doesn’t have a round face(s).
