This is the second hammer I've designed based on a collaboration with independent cymbal smith Timothy Roberts (I call it the ‘Timinator’in my head… and sometimes out loud). It’s similar to a metal-smith’s planishing hammer but with more weight and reach. It has a curved head for ergonomic hammering and a shorter handle making it ideal for hammering bronze cymbal blanks. It has one compound radiused face for flatter hammer blows and one deep radiused face for deeper, more deforming dimpling.
