Though it may look exotic, the design of this axe reflects hundreds of years of refinement. the long collar creates a super sound connection between head and handle.  The narrow blade allows the user to choke up for fine work and the heavy "Scandinavian edge" quickly and accurately planes wood from timbers. 

Features a mild steel body,  80CrV2 steel inlaid edge and 1045 hammer poll.
