This axe has a composite head forge-welded From three pieces, the body is mild steel (standard architectural) the poll is 1050 (medium/high carbon) and the edge is 1075 (high carbon). The head is 6&1/8” from poll to edge and the edge is 3&1/8” long. The helve is 19” from the top of the eye. It is air dried ash and is wedged and cross wedged with poplar and finished with linseed oil. Weight is 1.95lbs hung.

Comes with leather sheath.
