This historically inspired fully functional tomahawk was hand forged from mild steel with inlaid 80CrV2 high carbon steel spike and bit (yup both!) It has a beautiful curly hickory handle fit down through the eye and stained to bring out the grain. The deer-rawhide wrap is embellished with bone and glass beads, brass cones and deer hair. This type of tomahawk was especially popular in the Eastern Woodlands of 18th century America. Reenactors, history buffs, and edge tool enthusiasts will be pleased to own such a piece.
